Weight Loss A Thon Finale

Ok, it is the last week of WLAT... And I have failed miserably at keeping the blog updated.

But not at the weight loss. Yes, it could happen faster, but I really believe that I can keep up the changes I have made in eating patterns. Now bringing the same thing to exercise routine... I will start that when things settle down a bit in January.

So, I'm still at 241, but that means I made it through the Thanksgiving feasting without gaining. Bueno.

Drawing for the Christmas card photo shoot will be Friday... Collection of your donations next week, thank you very much!

And why do we try to make ourselves better? For our kids of course... just look at this guy!

Weight-Loss-A-Thon-week 15

Thanks for those of you who are following along, many kind words after the loss of my uncle.

Weight-Loss-A-Thon continues though, with the finish line now just around the corner. Just over two weeks remain (official end is Dec. 2)

WLAT Nov 14-0082

I knew it would be a slow process, but progress is good. I still hit sweets too much, and I have strayed some from the diet over the last few weeks. Now in the homestretch though, I'm going to focus for the last few weeks to get over the 20lb mark.

Get ready to pay up.

Also, I am planning to draw for the winner of the Christmas card photo shoot on Monday so that we can make time to get the photos. If you haven't already told me you are in ($1 per pound as of Dec 2 for the Genesis Center in Kaufman) let me know soon. Family members are out of the drawing :)

Thanks again, have a great Tuesday.

Life in general

As with life in general, plans have a way of becoming undone.

The death of my uncle last week is a huge loss for our family, and apparently for a lot of other folks as well.

The weight loss a thon is still in the works, though so a quick update. I will not be able to run in the CASA 5k tomorrow as planned, but I will find another one to do soon.

Walt

Another pound down.

Have a great weekend,

Don J.
